Late Harvest Riesling – 2005; Bell Mountain Vineyards; Fredericksburg, Texas

It looks like a Riesling, smells like a Riesling, and taste like a Riesling!  This Riesling is produced in the Rhine Valley style with about 5% residual sugar. The citrus and apricot aromas are aromatically pleasing.  Not only is this a Texas made wine, but made from Texas grown Riesling grapes to boot! The color is a beautiful buttery shade and the taste has the depth and full body appeal of a good Riesling. No need to travel to Europe to find fine white wine…this is a true Texas winner!
