Estate
wines are always a special treat and typically afford us the opportunity to
reminisce that last visit to the winery. This wine is no exception how this Rosé
blend of Sangiovese/Mourvèdre highlights how fine Texas Hill Country AVA fruit can
translate to beauty in the glass. After sitting six months in stainless steel,
this baby has developed into a pleasant sipper worth enjoying with food or
alone. Notes of honey and pepper shine through well after those initial sips. This
wine has a nice soft finish with a touch of strawberry, which one would expect.
Chilled is the way to go with this light and easy drinker and it is
delightfully an all-day Rosé. Cheers!
Wine Of The Moment is just that. A moment of trying out a new bottle of wine and sharing our thoughts and impressions. There is no planned wine bottle that is to be opened or set time that it will be tasted. It is what ever just happens to be opened...for the moment. On occasion, we may also post our feedback on new wineries that we have visited as well as unique cheeses. So, pull up your own plate of cheese, crackers, and fruit and enjoy these discussions.
