This special winemaker’s reserve wine is something extra special to experience. Crafted with equal parts of Marsanne, Roussanne, and Viognier, its striking medium gold hue is initially the first thing to capture your attention. This wine features beautiful floral notes of lemon and some honeysuckle, providing a very pleasant and inviting aroma. Swirl, sip and then savor the wonderful apple and pear notes on the palate. This Rhone-style blend exhibits medium acidity and concludes with a clean finish accented by a subtle hint of peach for the finishing tease. Very delightful white wine. Enjoy well!

Touriga Nacional Rosé – 2022; Robert Clay Vineyards; Mason, Texas

When you see precise measurements on the wine label (90.424% Touriga Nacional, 9.576% Barbera), you realize that attention to detail and quality is very important for the winemaker. This estate grown Rosé from the Hickory Sands of Mason County is just spectacular. Aged 10 months in neutral oak, this pale pink delight expresses both ripe strawberries and raspberries to entice you into that Rosé all day mood. Plus, there are the well balanced minerality, acids and tannins to add to that “ahh” moment one should anticipate with every sip. The dry finish is the best part, but come to think of it, maybe sip and repeat is even better. A truly delightful sipper. Enjoy!

Albariño – 2021; Raimat; Catalonia, Spain

Wow, what a refreshing and crisp Albarñio to have. Cultivated in the Costers del Segre wine region, this white wine offers a bright aromatic tropical nose featuring grapefruit and mango. It pours a yellow hue with some noticeable legs for this medium bodied white wine. Melding with the initial tropical notes are subtle lemon and flavors of pear, melon and nectarine on the mid-palate. You will also find that it has some good minerality to it that rounds things out. The wine is splendid alone, but even better when paired with food, so don’t be afraid to enjoy with a meal or hors d’oeuvres.  ¡Salud!
