Enchanted Rock Red – NV; Fredericksburg Winery; Fredericksburg, Texas

This sweet red wine is a good selection for when you just need a break from it all.  You don’t have to worry about what food to pair or desserts to serve with it, because it’s just fine on its own.   Made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Ruby Cabernet grapes, the two seem to meld well in this blend. This selection will compliment spicy food, but also stand up nicely as dessert with the fruit forward juicy fresh flavor that lingers a bit after the sip. Yum!

  1. We tried this wine while on vacation to the San Antonio, TX, area. It is our new favorite wine, but being from Connecticut we don't know how to get it in our region!
