Riesling – 2005; Messina Hof Winery; Bryan, Texas
If you want a nice Riesling in Texas, then you need to get one from a top quality winery in Texas! This Father and Son Cuvee Riesling has done well aging in the wine cellar over the years. Somewhere between semi-sweet and dry with hints of apples, the aroma and taste balance well together. The slightly green and honey hued wine is smooth and well balanced with a clean finish. This one is fine alone, or enjoyed with cheese, or lighter fare.
