Behold,
all Mason County fruit in this big beast!
Sourced from Parr Vineyards, Tallent Vineyards, and Blackmon Ranch
Vineyard, this special winemaker’s series creation does honor to Mason County
grown wine. Blended with 80% Tempranillo and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, this big
bold red wine was released in the Fall of 2019 and has some great minerality to
it as well as being a well-balanced blend. You will do this wine justice by
exercising patients and letting it breathe for about 45 minutes to really let
the best characteristics of this wine unfold. Plums, cherries, and a little bit
of blackberry will reign supreme on your palate with every sip. The finish is
super fine and will entice you to come back for more. This beauty is made to
pair with your favorite fatty aged meat.
Enjoy!
Wine Of The Moment is just that. A moment of trying out a new bottle of wine and sharing our thoughts and impressions. There is no planned wine bottle that is to be opened or set time that it will be tasted. It is what ever just happens to be opened...for the moment. On occasion, we may also post our feedback on new wineries that we have visited as well as unique cheeses. So, pull up your own plate of cheese, crackers, and fruit and enjoy these discussions.
