Rox-E – 2019; Lost Oak Winery; Burleson, Texas

This extra special wine label offers a refined experience suitable for extended enjoyment. Its name is derived from a combination of the owner’s wife and husband names, reflecting a personal touch behind this Zinfandel/Cabernet Sauvignon blend. Sourced from the Texas High Plains AVA, this wine features a robust 14.5% ABV and presents a moderate ruby color on that first pour in the glass and an every so pleasant fruit forward sensation. Aromas of raspberries and some cherries are alive and well, while subsequent sip and swirl sessions reveal some current. It is a crafty wine to enjoy that has a well balanced finish along with just the right amount of tannins. Enjoy!
