Bordorossa 100 - 2009; Solaro Estate Winery; Dripping Springs, Texas

This historic first release blends 64.5% Texas Merlot with 35.5% New Mexico Tempranillo and shows impressive aging after 17 years. The wine opens with notes of blueberry and blackberry, followed by some plum and a touch of spice. The depth and character of this wine on the palate after all these years is quite impressive. Overall, it stands as a well-aged, memorable bottling that continues to show its quality over time. Cheers!
