What
is not to love about this wine from Kuhlman? This signature blend, crafted with
Texas grapes, is still somewhat young, yet very enjoyable now. You will get a
full-bodied wine experience from this mix of 27% Tempranillo, 25% Petite Sirah,
21% Mourvedre, 15% Carignan, 12% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Franc. With good
balance and character, there should be no tastebud sensor left untouched during
your sipping pleasure. Notes of cherries and dark fruit are prominent, but you
should also discern underlying earthiness as well to round things out. The
acids are about medium and there is just the right bit of lingering tannins to
entice you for more. An absolute delight. Enjoy well!
Wine Of The Moment is just that. A moment of trying out a new bottle of wine and sharing our thoughts and impressions. There is no planned wine bottle that is to be opened or set time that it will be tasted. It is what ever just happens to be opened...for the moment. On occasion, we may also post our feedback on new wineries that we have visited as well as unique cheeses. So, pull up your own plate of cheese, crackers, and fruit and enjoy these discussions.
