This
upcoming Italian white grape in Texas has been making some good impressions in
the industry. Sourced from Pepperjack Vineyards of the Texas High Plains AVA,
this stainless-steel aged wine has a slight soft peach tint to it and aromas of
pear and pineapple. It has a mouthwatering feel to it with some bright acidity.
Your palate may also discern a bit of lemon grass, too. The finish it lingers
on the palate leaving you wanting more. This
white wine is a clean, refreshing thirst quencher on a hot day when chilled and
pairs nicely with your fresh gulf coast catch as well as those outstanding
summer salads. Salute!
Wine Of The Moment is just that. A moment of trying out a new bottle of wine and sharing our thoughts and impressions. There is no planned wine bottle that is to be opened or set time that it will be tasted. It is what ever just happens to be opened...for the moment. On occasion, we may also post our feedback on new wineries that we have visited as well as unique cheeses. So, pull up your own plate of cheese, crackers, and fruit and enjoy these discussions.
