What
an excellent Mourvèdre to sip and enjoy all evening! Clocking in at a whopping
15.4% abv, this bad baby pours a moderate garnet hue and will instantly fill
the air with notes of fresh strawberries on that initial pour. Some cranberries
and raspberries will complement the aromatics, as well. Savor those first few
sips and thoroughly enjoy those dark fruit flavors along with a bit of plum.
This red beast has a big mouthfeel for a medium bodied red wine along with
bright acids and a touch of vanilla. Tannins are just right for this 2017
jewel, so enjoy the highlights of this great wine as it continues to please.
Cheers!
Wine Of The Moment is just that. A moment of trying out a new bottle of wine and sharing our thoughts and impressions. There is no planned wine bottle that is to be opened or set time that it will be tasted. It is what ever just happens to be opened...for the moment. On occasion, we may also post our feedback on new wineries that we have visited as well as unique cheeses. So, pull up your own plate of cheese, crackers, and fruit and enjoy these discussions.
