This
50/50 blend of Malbec and Tannat will pair nicely with a meaty dish any day of the
week. It is bold, rich, and has a big
mouthfeel which is everything one could ask for from a rich red wine. The
mostly opaque color will make your wine imagination crazy guessing what this
wine is all about, until you give it that initial sip to see. The bright acids
are perfect for a nice fatty dish and that lush dark fruit packs a delightful
aroma on the nose. You can certainly
serve chicken with this one (skins on of course), but do not be a chicken to
drink this beauty on its own either. What a lovely red wine and kudos to the
wine maker for another great wine for our recent dinner. Enjoy!
Wine Of The Moment is just that. A moment of trying out a new bottle of wine and sharing our thoughts and impressions. There is no planned wine bottle that is to be opened or set time that it will be tasted. It is what ever just happens to be opened...for the moment. On occasion, we may also post our feedback on new wineries that we have visited as well as unique cheeses. So, pull up your own plate of cheese, crackers, and fruit and enjoy these discussions.
